A New Zealand-built solar water heating system from Sola60 is designed for newly built or existing homes. A solar water heating system absorbs energy from the sun via collector panels on your roof. This energy is transferred into water stored in a hot water cylinder. On days when there isn’t sufficient sunlight to heat the water to the required temperature, ’booster’ heating is required – typically gas, electricity or a wetback.
